Blender Render Farm Software?

Our school (Yes, yet another ambitious school project) is going to make a render farm – basicly connecting loads of old motherboards in one big enclosure together by a network switch – that has a budget of £0. All the would-be slaves run off one networked drive, meaning that its basicly a plug and play functionality – Slot in the motherboard, connect the Ethernet port, set to load from network as default, DONE!. This is so that we can add the growing pile of old motherboards quickly (roughly 2 minutes per board). And its going well. All the motherboards work fine, they all boot from the network drive.
BUT!
We cant find an application that will render our animations across the network. Dr Queue just drove us crazy, as the guides required setting blender up on every motherboard, meaning that it takes 20 minutes just to get one board running. So my question is:
Is their a programme out their that is just one, single application, that can be set to run on start-up (through batch file or whatever) for a slave/worker and another that will issue the commands to the slave programme, and how do you use it?

Any free virus software that support Win98SE?

It is my dad’s machine. He uses it to play cards and check agribusiness websites. He will not retire it because of the stats on the 80,000 games of FreeCell. My machine networked into his and now I got a file called
_scan32.bat
Located at these places.
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temp
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Temp
I think it is blocking MalwareBytes from updating. The install version calls it a Malware Trace. When I try to open up the Temp directory, the plus sign automatically disappears when the mouse hits it, then an hour glass then a popup asking if I want to format my C drive. Nope.
Currently did a Safe Boot with Networking and running a full scan.
I read some reports that said it might have come out again last September. Any free virus out there that can check my dads Win98SE machine? Both MalwareBytes and AVG say no. I was wondering if anyone was running those programs anyway on a Win98 machine.

Farmville software that lets you overlap crops OR software that tends farm whilst open in another tab?

My friend has this software but won’t tell me where I can get it or how it exactly works because he wants to beat me :( I got to level 31 unaided and I can’t let him cheat his way above me. Help me level the playing field? Where can I get this (or a similar) software? :) Thank you

Is it true that software is not really expensive right now?

I am a fresh graduate from a polytechnic in Indonesia. When I did a job training in an agriculture company, they said that they want to build an production software to ease their work. And I am surprised because I was very happy to be involved in the project. But when I say the budget, they surprised and confused. Because they think it is really expensive(based on my budget).
for details, i said the budget,
1 module in 3 months US 00
there are 3 modules. so the total cost is 3 * US 00.
all cost will be divided into 4 worker.
and the penalty if the software doesn’t finish on time, we will not get paid.
I think it’s all fair. but they want me to decrease the budget, but the scope of software is too big.
Please give an answer.

why do people from other states dislike Californians?

Forget the budget crises. We have Hollywood, Silicon Valley, the great redwoods, and agriculture.

I have been to Texas, Florida, and Ohio this year and everyone seems to be so hostile towards CA and it’s people.

Why do they dislike us when we produce their favorite movies, and most of their computers and software. Even Yahoo and Google are about 10 miles from my house (in California). Why all the resentment towards CA?

Can I use the 'Pod Farm' software by just using a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter from my guitar to my laptop?
